PrintProducers of an upcoming Disney movie about the legendary racehorse Secretariat are holding a casting call!
Interested owners may e-mail photographs of their candidate to casting@secretariat.com and must also complete an online casting form.
Rusty Hendrickson, who was also in charge of horse selection for Seabiscuit and Dreamer, is looking for three main qualities: looks, temperament and soundess.
Interested applicants don't need to have a Secretariat look-a-like to be considered. They are searching for at least two main Secretariats and about four stand-ins.
Horses do not need racing experience, and other breeds aside from Thoroughbreds will be considered.
