BLM Championships 2012, By The Numbers

Team Sprieser’s riders at the show: 13.

Riders qualified for a championship: 9.

Trailers driven: 8, 3 from my farm.

Days at the show: 5.

Rides over those 4 days: 51.

Disparity in temperatures: 36 degrees (high of 71 degrees on Friday, low of 35 degrees on Saturday).

Rides sodden by rain: 0!

Classes won: 5 (including one championship).

Ribbons won: 24 (including the 5 blue, plus 4 seconds and 3 thirds).

Highest score from our Team: 73.78 percent for Kristin H, to win a class of 16.

Number of boxes of donuts owed, as a score of 9 earns the rider donuts: 2 (one for a centerline, one for a stretchy circle).

Bronze Medals completed: 1 (Allison!).

Championship Placings: 6 (Molly – Champion training Jr/YR; Kate – eighth training Jr/YR and third first Jr/YR; Kristin C – ninth training Jr/YR; Kristin H – fifth first senior A; Nathalie – seventh training senior A).

Miles logged on my scooter: 12.4.

Size of the coffee I drank Sunday morning: 20 oz.

Calories consumed: yeah, we’re SO not owning up to that.

Loads of laundry: 5 (and counting).

Laughs, memories and joy: countless.
