So I have arrived at Bramham, and it is seriously unreal—much like most of this trip has been! Sara and Becky arrived safely, and we are all doing well! Cooper had his first few rides and has gone great. I have seen a lot of the legends of our sport today and even had Mark Todd sitting in David’s lorry while we all had a drink. I mean seriously, how cool is that? To be around the absolute legends of our sport…wow.
The jog for the seniors was today, and, as you can see by my pictures, the Bramham estate is completely amazing. I find myself strangely at ease, and I have to say that I feel like I belong and am ready to be here. The course looks great and has some tough questions but is well within what I am capable of.
Tomorrow Captain Phillips flies in for the day, and I look forward to hearing what he says about the course. I am lucky to have such great coaching as David has been completely supportive, and I am really thankful for that.
