PrintAmanda Bader of Accord, N.Y. died on Feb. 28 at 5am with her family by her side. She fell on the cross-country at the Ocala Winter II Horse Trials at the Florida Horse Park on Feb. 17. She sustained a head injury and was flown to Shands Trauma Unit in Gainesville, Fla. She was riding her own Samira in the preliminary rider division.
