On July 8, Dr. Pearse Lyons of Alltech and Laurent Beauvais, chairman of the Normandy World Equestrian Games Organizing Committee, announced Alltech’s title sponsorship of the 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games.
“These world championships of equestrian sport epitomize the values that we applaud: passion, excellence and performance. When the eyes of the world tune in to watch the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France, we will be there,” said Lyons during the press conference in Normandy.
“The equestrian world attracts and is going to attract more and more of the world,” said Beauvais, who is also the chairman of France’s Basse-Normandie region. “[Horse sports] in all their diversity have assets to interest many people. With Alltech, we share the same ambition to bring the public together to make this event a celebration of the equestrian culture.”

This is the second WEG that will feature Alltech as the title sponsor. Their sponsorship of the 2010 Alltech FEI WEG in Lexington, Ky., generated a positive economic impact for the state as well as for the company.
