All horses presented today in the final eventing horse inspection at the Mars, Incorporated World Eventing Championships passed.

The horse inspection was held at 2 p.m. after all competition was postponed due to rain and wind from Hurricane Florence.

Ireland, sitting in team bronze medal position, held their collective breath as Sam Watson’s Horseware Ardagh Highlight and Sarah Ennis’ Horseware Stellor Rebound, third individually, were held. Both passed upon re-inspection.

Irish Individual rider Patricia Ryan and Dunrath Eclipse were also held but passed.

The Dutch team also had a few nervous moments when Merel Blom’s Rumour Has It N.O.P. and Renske Kroeze’s Jane Z were held, but both passed.

Brazil’s Nilson Moreira da Silva and Magnum’s Martini were also held but passed.
