PrintThree horses were held, but eventually all 53 horses entered for the Rolex Kentucky CCI**** passed the first horse inspection on April 21 in Lexington.
The ground jury held Bonnie Mosser’s Merloch, Boyd Martin’s Rock On Rose and Ian Roberts’ Napalm. Rock On Rose and Napalm passed with little discussion upon re-inspection, while the judges conferred the longest over Merloch, but in the end he was given the OK to start the competition as well.
